It’s such a coincidence, isn’t it?
When something that began with pessimism,
Becomes an adventure of a lifetime.
It’s a miracle, isn’t it?
When the person you’d least expected,
Stands beside you.
A matter of trust
A pinch of selflessness
A tinge of sacrifice
And a balance of natures,
Is all that is needed,
To mend what is broken,
Or to fabricate something new.
Trust isn’t a gift,
It’s a currency,
It’s wealth,
Earned by only those who deserve it.
Selflessness isn’t not living for yourself,
But doing what makes you,
And the people who care about you happy.
Sacrifice isn’t giving up what you value,
But giving up enough to show respect,
For who would go out of the way for you.
It’s all about returning favours,
Figuring out our complex lives,
And the most vital thing,
Hold on to the people who’ll always be beside you.
